Much of my work utilizes drawing and intervention to explore the recall of memory. I refer to memory as a construction of cues,
built of elements from heightened senses and over time, those elements are added on or removed by introduction of newer memories and experiences.
The fragility of drawing and the structured systems I explore relate to memory’s mutability as a conversation of open-ended decisions.
My methods and use of materials encounters a state of contemplation, provisionality and a phenomenon where the perception of the recall is influenced
by the distinction between memory and history.
